Called you guys last week and Lori who is a great customer service rep booked appointments for me today because of a 178 code that last year I called and whenever your service reps would come out for maintenance I would mention this issue. Not one could figure it out! Long story short Nick started to find burnt up wires that whoever took off the zip ties from the wires were just hanging over the gas igniter compartment.
Very sloppy work and very dangerous! Thanks to Nick he was able to troubleshoot these issues.
Nick was a gentleman from the get go and those are employees that should be recognized and taken are of.

“Impact Heating and Cooling did a great job on the late spring service on our AC system, so we signed up for an annual service plan. This time, Isaac Favila came to do our annual furnace and humidifier service. We are so glad he did! After thoroughly evaluating our furnace and finding no problems, he checked our whole house humidifier and found it was not working. He did a very thorough diagnosis and determined that a solenoid switch that controlled water flow to the humidifier was malfunctioning. I agreed to replace the rather expensive solenoid and voilà, our humidifier is now operating perfectly! Isaac also showed us how to use our high-tech thermostat to control the humidifier automatically. So probably for the first time in the almost six years we've lived in this house, our whole house humidifier is working as intended. Isaac is a very experienced, knowledgable HVAC technician, a great diagnostician, and a really good guy. I strongly recommend Impact, and especially Isaac Favila, for your all your HVAC service!”

“November 2023/June 2024: Impact has provided good and reliable service during a past heating issue with the furnace and a past plumbing issue with the toilet. Service was quickly scheduled, and the technicians took the time to show me what was wrong. The plumbers were exceptionally good with the detailed explanation and reasonable pricing.
August 2024: This past week or so, I requested an AC tune up as part of my membership offerings. The AC tune up went well and several items were marked as needing attention. An exterior and interior capacitor were changed per the recommendations. The first issue is the price ($732 – an open item being looked into). Most work of this type would be around $400-$500 max based on comparisons made. The second issue is a resulting grating/metallic sound that can be heard throughout the home (originating in the basement/furnace, audible from the vents on the main floor, and upstairs areas. A free follow-up was scheduled, but the technician told me nothing was wrong without looking (even though I showed a video of the sound and that it started a few days after the new capacitors were put in). After a gentle push from me to look at the unit to confirm that the capacitor is compatible with the unit, I was told that all that was possibly wrong was the air cycler thermostat. So, that was removed. However, the grating/metallic sound did not start until after the capacitors were changed. I was also told that the sound was probably coming from rattling vents and to tighten them or use pliers to move the vent flaps. The sound coming from the unit was audible from the entire home. This was not rattling vents, more like the sound of Jurassic Park dinosaurs (they used metal against metal for the sound in that movie). This is why the satisfaction is currently at a 3. Because I am still monitoring the problem and am still concerned that the new capacitor may be the root cause due to incompatibility with the existing unit.
August 2024: I requested a quote for electrical projects in the home. Simple to more complex. The service was good, but the costs were higher (i.e., $400 per light fixture). The cost was the major deterrent and why I am holding off on most of the work. Will only proceed with removal/capping of a chandelier which may/may not require an electrician.
I am also concerned about the August 2024 costs because past jobs were very reasonable, but new systems may be causing billing errors.”

“Gabriel Villareal is the best! He came a couple weeks ago and did a very thorough annual service on our air conditioning system. In the process, he noticed that the HVAC blower wheel was completely coated in sticky construction dust, which impeded the flow of air and affected the balance of the wheel. So he provided an estimate to clean the blower wheel and, assuming the evaporator coil was equally dirty, an estimate to clean the evaporator coil. We accepted both estimates and asked that Gabriel do the work. When Gabriel came today, he did an amazing job cleaning the blower wheel and — get this! — he determined that the evaporator coil did NOT need cleaning, which saved us a lot of money. Gabriel's diligence, his attention to detail and his honesty are tremendous attributes. Those qualities and Gabriel's outstanding job performance reflect favorably on Impact Heating and Cooling. Thanks and well done!”

“Impact service technician(Tyler) was persistent and work very diligently on the issue and solved the probable of having a broken Damper for our home using two Zones.
Tyler is very courteous, professional and the best part to me, willing to take the time to explain what he thought was the issue and answering all of my questions, which I know can be tiring, since I asked a lot of them.
In the end, the problem was fixed and all the mess was cleaned up!
The one thing I want to highlight – I called three other competitors to try and solve this Damper issue with 1 saying it was working correctly and the other two never returning or calling.
